DEBATE 1. DO NOT SHOW YOUR IGNORANCE IN GROUP VS IT IS BETTER TO CLARIFY YOUR DOUBTS BEFORE ACTING. WHAT DO YOU THINK?
It is about expressing the point of view on one of the ideas that are facing, divided by VS (Versus). Each participant will have to give the group noun and him/her own noun. E.g. Esther, UMAMI.
I think is better solve your doubts asking your mates; we must learn to be humbles and leverage the knowledge of others, which will help us to acquire new information, acting confidently and perform well. XD
ReplyDeleteI think is better to clarify your doubts, because you can learn new thinks by this way, and if you are only worry about don't show your ignorance, you only get more ignorance because you can understand what are your group saying
ReplyDeleteI agree with them. There is no point in keeping hidden in the ignorance. That leads to problems that can be easily solved just by asking. You would end being even more stupid than what you thought in the first place.
ReplyDeleteI think it's always better to tell your doubts about something, being modest and recognizing your ignorance. I think this is the best way to learn and maybe you can make possible other mates in the same position learn too.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, you will also feel better with yourself if you solve your doubts. Of course, if you are in class with your mates it would be less difficult for you to tell them what you did not understand about a certain topic, but if you are with a lot of people, who are not familiar to you, maybe you can be shy and not be brave enough to ask for clarifications.
ReplyDeleteThat is why I think that, although the best is to tell the others you did not understand, people will feel in a way or another depending on the context and on the other participants of the talk.

A member of a group that tries to do his best without having an idea can be even worst than not doing anything. The real ignorant are those who keep their doubts to their self instead of asking the task of the group. Hence, when I have a doubt I prefer asking and be seen as an ignorant than doing wrong a task because I were too afraid for asking.
